Slip N Slide

It wasn't very exciting around here this weekend since B was with his dad. R and I put up a new barn/shed in the back yard on Sunday. What a nightmare! R definitely knew what he was doing, but the kit we bought was not well put together at all. All that's left is the roof and trim though.
B has been very patient waiting for us to get his slip n slide inflated and set up in the yard. Tonight was the night! After 30 minutes of inflation with the bicycle pump, he slid down it twice...it's not exactly warm this evening and the water from the hose is pretty cold. Here is his second slide and him wrapped in a towel.

I told him I couldn't believe after all that prep time that he was only going to slide twice. He said, "Mom, sometimes what you expect is not going to work out so well." I sure hope he remembers that! Oh, wise one!
