Honor Roll

Parent/teacher conferences were this week...can't believe 9 weeks of school have gone by already! B's teacher had all kinds of great things to say about him! He's doing great and loves school. On Wednesday there was a note sent home that parents were invited to the awards ceremony for the kids who were on the honor roll. B made his first honor roll! We didn't find out until Thursday's conference what his actual grades were. He got all A's and one A+! I am so proud of him! The A+ was in Reading. His teacher said he is reading above his grade level and could possibly start reading chapter books. This surprised me because if I had to pick his least favorite subject, it would be Reading. He reads very well - he just doesn't like it as much as Math. He did get a 98% in Math which was also an A. He was pretty proud of his grades and looks forward to doing homework now because he saw the rewards at the end of the grading period. Way to go kiddo!
