You're listening, but do you hear me?
This was also back in April. We had been talking about listening skills (or lack of them) earlier that evening. Maybe someone was paying more attention than I thought. Long after B was supposed to be in bed, I noticed his bedroom light was still on. I rounded the corner with all kinds of disciplinary intentions since this was proving my case of "not listening" as we discussed earlier. Boy, was I put in my place! To help him remember, B wrote a step-by-step list of what he should do to start and end each day...with check boxes to record his accomplishments. After seeing what he was up to, I couldn't remember a single reprimand that was so readily on the tip of my tongue just minutes before. (You can click on the picture to make it bigger to read his list)

What a wonderful list... Blaine is an excellent writer (and a hard worker, too, from the looks of it)!
Thanks for sharing your blog link, Michelle. It's wonderful! It was great seeing both of you the other night. I sent pictures to your Purdue e-mail address. Let me know if you don't get them soon.
